The unit was built by A J Roberts Construction on a design and build contract and let to Hyco on a 10 year lease. Hyco manufacture and distribute electrical equipment, specialising in water heaters, space heaters and hand dryers.
Normandy Court is the final part of Earnstone’s Normandy Park development at Wakefield Europort which totals 120,000sq.ft in eight separate units, all sold or let since December 2008.
In addition to the Hyco unit, a 6,500sq.ft unit has been sold to Huddersfield Express Couriers for figure in excess of £450,000, leaving only one speculative unit of 3,000sq.ft available. This follows the sale in 2010 of a 9,000sq.ft unit to French company Petit Forestier.
